Jerusalem & Blessing
Two Pears
פותח את ידך… רצון
Tehillim 145:16
These artworks are a set, and for me, they represent happiness and blessing even in a world of pain and suffering, reflecting the recognition of Hashem’s endless goodness and the gifts He bestows upon us.
In one image, hands overflowing with fruit are held in a giving gesture, bright and colorful, symbolizing abundance and generosity. The second image shows hands open to receive, catching rain—a receptacle for blessing. Darker tones surround the scene, making the bright, hopeful rain stand out as a symbol of divine grace and sustenance.
Together, these works explore the balance between giving and receiving, gratitude, and the awareness of Hashem’s continuous benevolence in our lives.
